The Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) regulates access to the Sassi area. Guests cannot drive their cars through on check-in and check-out days for luggage loading and unloading, but motorcycles are exempt from this restriction.

Before the ZTL, there are street parking spaces available for a fee and private garages with shuttle service for guests. Upon booking, we will provide details and costs for parking services.

Is there a city bus connecting the Sassi with the center?

The “Linea Sassi” bus service operated by Miccolis connects the Sassi with the center of Matera, with runs every 30 minutes. More information is available on the official Miccolis website.

I’m arriving by plane at Bari airport, how do I reach the hotel?

We recommend taking the Pugliairbus from Bari airport to Matera, or the train from Bari Centrale with a transfer to FAL trains or buses. Private bus services such as Marino and Miccolis are also available. We offer a private shuttle service upon reservation with variable rates.

How far is the room from the reception?

The rooms are at most 120 meters away from the reception. We recommend light luggage and comfortable shoes due to the presence of steps. We do not have a porter service, but we offer luggage assistance at check-in.
